On December 15th, 2010, Operation Ward 57 held its annual “Holiday Cheer Party” at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.

The “Holiday Cheer Party” is our organizations annual celebration that brings patients, their families and the staff of Walter Reed together to celebrate the holiday season. For many patients, the holiday dinner consisting of turkey, ham, and all the trimmings is the first true home cooked meal since prior to their deployment many months beforehand. Catering was provided courtesy of Parkway Deli.

The event was carried out by our arm of volunteers. A special thank you goes out to Katie, Laura and Jim who, without their help, this event might not of been possible.
