Hometown Hero Night | Operation Ward 57On Feb 24, 2012 The Connecticut Whale, a professional ice hockey team, is hosting Hometown Hero Night. The game will pay tribute to the military and will feature a performance by the band Remember September and raise funds for Operation ward 57.

Tickets must be purchased by contacting John Reis at 860-728-3366 or emailing John.Reis@ctwhale.com. Tickets purchased online through Ticketmaster or CT Whale website will not count toward proceeds for Operation Ward 57.

The CT Whale is a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. They play in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Remember September is a Connecticut-based Indie Rock band with an ever-growing reputation throughout the Northeast.  Performing with a Who’s Who of renowned artists that includes Train, Chicago and .38 Special as well as headlining at many legendary clubs and festivals, Remember September prides itself on appealing to a wide variety of musical tastes and ages. The band has was one of the final live musical acts in August 2011 to perform on the grounds of the now closed Historic Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
