U.S. Blackhawk Helicopter with 4 U.S. Personnel Crashes

Sad news to report. A United States Army Helicopter, a Blackhawk, crashed in southwestern Afganistan.

Initial reports state that as many as four U.S. military personnel have been killed. Their conditions are unknown but officials say that it is believed they did not survive the initial crash.

The Blackhawk was participating in a nighttime mission with another Blackhawk helicopter although the second Blackhawk was not affected by the crash.

As of right now the cause of crash is unknown. It has been reported that bad weather was present although enemy fire cannot be ruled out.
