On Friday, April 13, 2012, the University of Louisville held their Annual Patriotic Day.
During their baseball game, Operation Ward 57 was recognized as well as over 20 soldiers from the Warrior Transition Brigade (WTB) from local Fort Knox.
SGT Nugent, who represented Operation Ward 57, as well as the 35 wounded soldiers & their loved ones were recognized for their contributions and sacrifices. They also received a private catered meal prior to the game.
We want to thank the University of Louisville for taking the time to recognize our nations wounded heroes, SGT Nugent for representing Operation Ward 57, and Jonathan who helped to take photographs of the event for everyone to share and enjoy.
