Attention Service Connected Veterans & Caregivers – here is your chance to help shape the future of healthcare…

The DoD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) is seeking active and veteran service members who have sustained service-connected injuries and illnesses, as well as caregivers for these individuals, to participate as panel reviewers where they will help to review and evaluate research applications related to the treatment of conditions unique to, or commonly experienced by, the military population. These include a wide array of physical and psychological health conditions, such as: traumatic brain injury, PTSD, orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries and disorders, burn and blast injuries, burn pit exposure and associated conditions, military infectious diseases, vision, hearing, and balance impairment, orthotic and prosthetic use, and many more.

Stipends and travel reimbursements are available for qualified reviewers, in accordance with federal travel regulations. Meetings for FY17 are scheduled to begin in June and panels will occur at various times throughout the year.
