Volunteer with Operation Ward 57

JOB SUMMARY
Assist non-profit organization with weekly visits and occasional events

WHERE
Walter Reed Army Hospital and surrounding community

LENGTH
This position will run from time of being filled until Jan 2010 with requirement of (3) three hours of work weekly

SALARY
None – Volunteer

JOB DUTIES

• Restock and distribute Operation Ward 57 clothing to patients, family members, and staff
• Preform and maintain accurate inventory of Operation Ward 57 clothing and supplies
• Maintain organization of Operation Ward 57 clothing and supplies on Ward 57
• Maintain accountability of issued Operation Ward 57 supply cabinet keys
• Communicate with patients, family members, and staff of upcoming events
• Discuss with patients mission and purpose behind Operation Ward 57
• Distribute purchases to patients, family members, and placement in family room
• Clean and organize and maintain inventory of games and toys in family room
• Label and identify purchases and donations distributed to hospital
• Assist with events sponsored by or in conjunction with Operation Ward 57
