Memorial Day Message l Operation Ward 57

SPECIAL MEMORIAL DAY MESSAGE

Dear Family and Friends,

Before this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, we ask you to join us in taking a moment to pause, and reflect upon the true meaning of one of the oldest and most revered holidays in our nation. This day of remembrance was created to honor the millions of brave men and women who died in military service to the United Sates of America.

We do not honor war. We honor those who have come back from war in flag-draped coffins. All around us are co-workers, neighbors, teammates, family and strangers who have lost a loved one in war. We ALL owe a debt of gratitude for those sacrifices and on this Memorial Day, we can show how grateful we are by keeping fallen service members and those they have left behind in our hearts and minds.

There are many simple things you can do to show gratitude: say thank you to a veteran, fly a flag, visit a gravesite, or make a donation to your favorite charity.

Enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend this year and please, remember why that is.

Sincerely,
Your Family at Operation Ward 57
