On Saturday, December 3rd CrossFit Liberation presents its First Annual CrossFit Competition for the Mid-AtlanticRegion:

“THE COLD WAR”

This mission is an all-day, four-member team competition that will test each athlete’s mental and physical capabilities while enduring constantly-varied, rigorous events located both indoors and out in the dead of winter. The events, many unique to other CrossFit competitions, will be placed before each team of four to negotiate and overcome while at all times staying together until each team member reaches the finish line.

A portion of this event will go to Operation Ward 57 which benefits wounded soldiers as well as their loved ones.

Registration is $100 per individual up until Oct 15th, 2011. Starting Oct 16th the fee will increase to $120 with registration closing on Dec 1st, 2011 or until all team slots have been sold.

CrossFit liberation is a CrossFit-dedicated gym and fitness teaching organization located in Lorton, Virginia. My wife, Carrie, and I established CrossFit Liberation out of our shared desire to provide our local community with a new, high caliber fitness training facility that takes into account every aspect of our client’s health and fitness well-being.

The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s physical competency in order to prepare them for dealing with life’s challenges. Through a combination of CrossFit training, rigorous elite endurance events, specialty classes, yoga/recovery sessions and nutrition guidance we will assist you in exceeding your fitness goals and expectations.

Over the years we have found that Traditional gyms and personal trainers don’t give you the comprehensive Fitness program required to achieve the results you desire. Our program does. At CrossFit Liberation we provide a high-intensity core strength and conditioning program that focuses on all ten components of optimal physical fitness: power, strength, speed, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, accuracy, agility, and endurance. More importantly, though, we offer our clients a continual fundamental fitness education as they begin, progress, and strive to master the CrossFit method.

At CrossFit liberation, every member receives personal coaching from a highly experienced certified CrossFit Coach in a group setting each and every time they train, at a fraction of the cost of personal training. All workouts are individually scaled to varying weights, times and intensity levels making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of body composition, current fitness level, age, gender or experience.

Our program seeks to challenge you mentally and physically while embracing the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Rarely will the exact same workout routine be delivered twice in an effort to keep the body and the mind guessing. As a member of our program’s community you will form some of the best friendships of your life with like-minded individuals who will keep you motivated and inspired to achieve, assist you in tracking your progress, and help you push past your illusions of limitation.
