Thanksgiving weekend Operation Ward 57 organized the Iraq Afghanistan Run for Remembrance as a part of the Seattle Marathon events.
Thank you to all the runners and our wounded warrior handbiker who participated. It was humbling to see everyone out there running to pay tribute to those wounded or killed in combat operations. Also, thank you to the soldiers from JBLM, including the 16th CAB, who helped us at the finish line handing out the medals to the half and full marathon participants. I know it was an honor for the runners to come to the end of their run and receive their medal from you.
