So you have all seen those Ice Water Challenges for ALS right? OK well our very own Young Marine Luke Sliwinski from our Honor & Courage program has created the PIE IN THE FACE Challenge. We are bringing awareness to Veteran Suicide and PTSD. 22 Veterans commit suicide each day. That is not acceptable and we CAN change that statistic. So we are asking all of you to get this movement going!
Grab a video camera, take the challenge, lead by example, and pick a few friends to nominate. They have 24 hours to donate a small amount (every dollar helps) to Operation Ward 57 and complete the challenge or donate $100 to OPW57. Our very own Executive Director Brittney accepted Luke’s challenge. Lets keep the conversation going and make sure no one is left behind in our Veteran community! www.operationward57.org.
