Concert to Benefit Children of Wounded Veterans Coming to the South Puget Sound Area
SEATTLE—KISW 99.9 “The Rock” Loud & Local, KING 5 New Day Northwest and Louie G’s Pizza have teamed up with Operation Ward 57 to sponsor a concert benefiting the children of wounded veterans.
Klover Jane, Superfecta and Garrett Whitney and The Outlaw Gruntry Band will be performing at Louie G’s Pizza Dec. 13. New, unwrapped toys are the event’s price of admission.
The following Saturday, ill and injured veterans will return to the restaurant to choose gifts for their children. Wounded warrior families can register for the toy distribution by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
“December is the perfect time to give back to the men and women who served and sacrificed so we can enjoy our holiday,” said Operation Ward 57 Executive Director Brittney Hamilton. “This year, Louie G’s Pizza, KISW 99.9 “The Rock” Loud & Local and KING 5 New Day Northwest have generously made saying thank you to veterans as easy as enjoying some great music!”
